WHAT I NEED IN PORTFOLIO

this is more than half the stuff i need in my portfolio, what i am going to do when i print these out is place them in order from the best to least as good, and also have them in order by type, such as, illustartion first, packaging next, logo design, album cover/music posters. doing this will make my portfolio nice to look at and easy to look though. i am also going to put in some development work just to show the level of work i can do bar from design.

CASTOR TROY EP DESIGN.

this is what what i got given as a rough idea for my friends EP cover. so from this i had to create somthing outstanding and what the band would like. 

this is my final outcome of the EP cover. i am really pleased with how it came out. it was very simple to do i used a picture of an old typewritter, wooden desk and a wall and merged them all together. i then masked it with effects and layers and to give it its final touch. i really like the canvas effect i put on it it really brings out this piece and makes it look complete. i thought the old vintage look would look best with what i am aiming for and it was. i have had great feed back from the band, friends and college saying it looks really professional  which boosts up my confidence as a graphic designer.  

NHS NEWCASTLE MEDICAL PHOTOGRAPHY LOGO

this is my final outcome to my redone logo, i think this is more nice to look at and looks more to industry standard. i like how i have based it on two bold colours, red and black looks great.

This is my NHS newcastle medical photography logo i created in first year and i dont like the way it looks and doesnt go well so i am going to redo it and make it look more professional.

i now need to start thinking and pulling out my best quality designs to start on my portfolio. i am going to look and redo a few of my designs from the past 2 years of my foundation degree. i will be looking at my t-shirt design, logo design, posters, illustrations, packaging design and album  covers.

CV & BUSINESS CARD

here is my CV and business card iv made myself to hopefully get me to do more stuff i enjoy and to get me on work placements for more experience and to boost my confidence up as a graphic designer. i think my CV is nice to look at and interesting so this should hopefully catch the the industries eye and help me progress to a better job.

TED BAKER

this is my Te Baker design. the ides behind this design is that Ted Baker is a British company and they want to expand there bushiness over to America and China. so i thought it would be best to have the union jack in my design to clearly show that this is a British clothing company. im really pleased with my final outcome, i think it works well and draws people in.
