From doing my own t-shirt company called Humble i have learned quite abit on Photoshop and Illustrator by using the pen tool and making my lines perfect. i think my time managedment was a little behind, but i managed to pull off a good logo and t-shirt design. from doing this it has pushed up my confidence to create more t-shirt designs and to be more professional looking at other peoples work.

this is my final outcome, i am really pleased with what i have came up with. the colors used look really good, especially the orange and purple, its really makes the gorilla stand out. i love the two bananas in the background upset hugging each other because the gorilla chose a cigarette over them, and also how all the scattered bananas faid away into the distance. the flame coming from the lighter i think works really well because this design its going to be on a white t-shirt so the flame will look like it has faided into the t-shirt. if i had more time i would of liked to add more detail into the gorilla or many of made him look like he was starring right at us.

this is my Gorilla colored in using Photoshop. i think the purple looks really effective and makes this design stand out because you never get purple gorillas. also i like how i have done the flame using yellow and orange, going from dark to light using a fading effect. this also has the background i have drawn behind the gorilla, i thought it looked to plain just to have the gorilla, so i added in bananas scattered everywhere because the gorilla is sick of bananas and wants to smoke a cigarette, this adds bait of humor to my t-shirt design.

this is my drawn up gorilla i have scanned in, my next step is to get this into illustrator and fine up each line using the pen tool. when i have this i will have a final outline of my gorilla. i really like the flame coming out of the lighter, really makes this design stand out.

Humble logo

the top Humble is my drawn up Humble design scanned in to the computer. and the bottom logo is my logo completed, it was easy to do, i adjusted each lines on Illustrator using the pen tool and then put it back into Photoshop and added clolour and high lights. i think the high lights make my logo look more profetional.
