MR PORTER PACKAGING DESIGN

this is my final outcome and i am very pleased with it. i think the design is nice and sleek and works perfectly for the Mr Porter project. i have designed it so its nice and exiting to look at while you open your product like a present you have gotten for Christmas. also because its a nice box you can keep it instead of throwing it away and keep it to keep other items in so with this product your getting a little bit extra than what you have just bought. 

this is my box net. i cannot wait to see how this all works out and is put together. i think it looks a little plain right now as your look at it as a net but should look nice all put together and should fit and go well with the Mr Porter company.

the top design is the packaging design im going for. its simple to make and should be effective. i am also going to make a pull out window which should fit nicely into the tray to show the product, and the product is going to be a shirt and tie.

these are some images i pulled from the internet of Mr Porter. these images show you that their designs are only based in black and white and its quite plain and smart. this shows me that i need to create a packaging design that  is black and white, smart and similar to their previous designs. and also the packaging will have to work well and to sell the item.

this is my final outcome of The Beatles greatest hits album cover. i am really impressed with how it has came out. i think the illustration works nice and the amount of bright colour works well for the psychedelic look i was going for, the style i was going for was a more modern bright psychedelic look

The Beatles CD cover design

this is the image i pulled from Pintrest of a famous picture of the beatles i thought this would be perfect to change into a nice illustration design. i printed this picture out on A4 paper and traced it using a lightbox. when this was traced i then scanned it into Illustrator and live traced it. after it was traced i then moved it into Photoshop and coloured it in using the paint bucket.
